DEICHBRAND has been a staple festival brand on the North Sea coast since 2005. With over 60,000 visitors per day, 4 stages, and 100+ acts, it ranks among the three largest festivals in Germany. The venue is Nordholz Airfield, a former naval airship site in the municipality of Wurster Nordseeküste.

New 'ElecTrees' Stage for Electronic Music

A premiere in 2026: the 'ElecTrees' stage, which focuses entirely on electronic music. DEICHBRAND is responding to the growing interest in Electro and House acts among the festival audience.

Camping and Infrastructure

The DEICHBRAND campsite is one of the largest festival camps in Germany. The camping ticket costs €50. Catering, sanitary facilities, food courts, and a dedicated festival supermarket ensure a comfortable multi-day stay.

Wurster Nordseeküste — Festival on the Elbe

The municipality of Wurster Nordseeküste is located directly at the mouth of the Elbe in the Cuxhaven district. The former Nordholz/Wanhöden military airfield offers the necessary space for a mega-festival — and its proximity to the Wadden Sea and the North Sea makes DEICHBRAND a geographically unique festival.
