CSD-Nordwest — Night of the Little Arts

The Night of the Little Arts sets the artistic and cultural accent as part of CSD Nordwest. While the demonstration parades through the city center on Saturday, June 20, 2026, the intensive cultural days around Heiligengeiststraße and the queer center CORE begin on Sunday and Monday.

Several Stages Around Heiligengeiststraße

Heiligengeiststraße has been a queer axis in Oldenburg for years. The CORE center is located here, as are queer meeting points and locations. During the Night of the Little Arts, several stages will be set up — open-air and in the surrounding spaces.

Drag Shows

Drag artists from Oldenburg, the Northwest, and beyond bring glamour, pop, satire, and self-assertion to the stage. Drag is one of the oldest and most expressive formats of queer stage culture and is prominently featured in the Night of the Little Arts.

Performances and Little Arts

In addition to drag, there will be dance, spoken word, and performance contributions. Spoken word, readings, queer singer-songwriters, a cappella groups, short plays, and experimental stage formats complement the program — hence the name "Little Arts": diverse, compact, intimate.

Cultural Festival Around the CSD

The Night of the Little Arts is part of the comprehensive cultural festival that CSD Nordwest organizes every year alongside the demonstration and closing party. Readings, films, workshops, and discussion rounds complement the stage program.

The center of activities is the queer center CORE at Heiligengeiststraße 6-8, which also performs queer visibility work throughout the year. The organizer is CSD Nordwest e.V.
