Crange Total — Ballermann in the Ruhr Area
Crange Total — The Mallorca Festival is the biggest Mallorca Schlager party in the western Ruhr area. On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the traditional Cranger Kirmesplatz in Herne-Wanne — home to Germany's largest city fair (Stadtfest) — will be transformed into a single, large Bierkönig-meets-Cranger-atmosphere open-air venue. Doors open at 12 PM, the first acts start at 1 PM, with a headliner set by Mickie Krause in the evening.
Mickie Krause Leads the Line-up
The headliner is Mickie Krause — one of the most famous voices in the German Mallorca Schlager scene, known for hits like 'Zehn nackte Friseusen' or 'Geh mal Bier holen'. His performance at 8 PM is the highlight of a line-up that covers the second and third tiers of the scene completely:
- Mickie Krause — Headliner at 8 PM
- Frenzy — Party Schlager
- Almklausi — Cult act of the Mallorca scene
- Rumbombe — Party phenomenon from the Ruhr area
- Neon — Duo from the Ballermann scene
- Angelique Sendzik — Local star from Herne
- Breitner — Schlager newcomer
- Jörg Bausch, Milla Pink, Isselcopter, among others.
Capacity Doubled for 2026
Following successful initial editions, the event is doubling its capacity in 2026: the maximum capacity increases from 4,500 to 10,000 visitors, and the event area from 4,500 m² to 11,000 m². Three bars, several street food stalls, additional sunshades (in response to criticism from 2025), and an expanded VIP tent with full catering are part of the new scale. Payment is cashless via festival wristband.
Cranger Kirmesplatz — A Festival Classic
The Cranger Kirmesplatz is one of Germany's most famous event locations. Every August, it hosts the Cranger Kirmes — Germany's largest city fair, attracting over 4 million visitors annually. The infrastructure is legendary: direct access to the A42 (Herne-Wanne exit), the Wanne-Eickel S-Bahn station within walking distance, and large parking lots nearby. This logistics makes the site an ideal location for major events beyond the Kirmes.
Herne — Mid-sized City in the Ruhr Area
With just under 160,000 inhabitants, Herne (an independent city in North Rhine-Westphalia) is one of Germany's most densely populated cities. Located between Bochum, Gelsenkirchen, and Recklinghausen, the city lies in the heart of the Ruhr area — and the Wanne district, with its famous Kirmesplatz, is one of the most important venues for large open-air events in the region.
VIP Area and Shuttle to Bochum
The VIP ticket for €149.99 includes access to the covered VIP tent with a private entrance, high-quality catering, all-inclusive drinks (beer, sparkling wine, wine, cocktails, soft drinks), and a reserved parking space. After the festival ends, from 9:45 PM onwards, a free shuttle runs to the Mallorca after-party at Prater Bochum.
