Klausdorf — Beach and Country by Lake Mellensee
Klausdorf is a district of the municipality of Am Mellensee in the Teltow-Fläming district, about 50 km south of Berlin. Lake Mellensee is one of Brandenburg's larger swimming lakes south of the capital — the municipality thrives on water and nature tourism in the summer. The festival grounds are located directly at the Klausdorf Beach Resort, which hosts the Countryfest annually — a combination of lake, sandy beach, and open-air stage that is unparalleled in Brandenburg.
Crazy Cowboy Dancer's — 26 Years of Line Dance
The Crazy Cowboy Dancer's Klausdorf are the driving force behind the festival. For over 25 years, the group has been dedicated to Line Dance, Country Western Dance, and Square Dance — and organizes the Countryfest every year. What began as a purely club event has evolved over the years into an open country weekend that attracts dancers and country fans from all over southern Berlin.
Program July 3rd-5th, 2026 — Three Days of Country
The festival runs throughout the first weekend of July. The program includes live bands from the German country scene, line dance workshops for beginners and advanced dancers, DJ sets with classics from Garth Brooks to Brooks & Dunn, country-themed catering (BBQ, burgers, cold beer), and a family program with children's activities. The beach resort location allows for swimming and camping directly on the festival grounds — many guests arrive with motorhomes or tents.
Country with Brandenburg Nonchalance
Unlike the large commercial country festivals (Country Fever, Festival Mediaval), the Klausdorf Countryfest remains small, club-based, and personal. You can dance along here, even without line dance experience — the Crazy Cowboy Dancer's offer introductory courses and are happy to welcome newcomers to the dance floor. Countryfest Klausdorf — edition 2026
From July 3rd to 5th, 2026, the Crazy Cowboy Dancer's will host the annual Countryfest Klausdorf — Location: Festival grounds at the Klausdorf Beach Resort, Am Mellensee municipality.
The program includes live bands from the German country scene, line dance workshops for beginners and advanced dancers, DJ sets with country classics, BBQ and burger catering, cold beer, and a family program. The beach resort location allows for swimming and overnight stays directly on the festival grounds.
