COAST IN CONCERT is Cuxhaven's signature open-air concert series — live music with a view of the North Sea. The venue is the Deichbühne at Messeplatz Döse, Nordfelstraße. Its location directly on the dike lends the concerts a maritime atmosphere that no other concert venue in Northern Germany can offer.

2 Evenings, 2 Styles — June 5th and 6th, 2026

The 2026 edition focuses on a dual concept with two clearly distinct concert evenings:

Friday, June 5th, 2026 — Schlager Party

Doors open 5:00 PM, start 6:30 PM. A concentrated dose of Schlager with the following acts:

Saturday, June 6th, 2026 — Johannes Oerding

The headliner is Johannes Oerding, one of the most successful German pop songwriters of recent years. His new album "Hotel" will be released in March 2026 — the concert in Cuxhaven will be part of the tour for the new album.

Deichbühne — Popular Open-Air Location

The Deichbühne at Messeplatz Döse has become the premier address for major open-air concerts in Cuxhaven. The natural acoustics, the proximity to the sea, and the high quality of life in Döse with its beach, hotels, and restaurants make the concerts feel like mini-festivals.
