The 2026 edition will take place on Sunday, August 2, from 9 a.m. to around 11:45 p.m. on the Old Market Square in Pleystein. The festival day begins at 10 a.m. with a church service, followed by cannon shots to open the Bürgerfest.
Afterwards, the morning pint with the Pleystein Town Band invites to a convivial get-together. Throughout the day, various music groups provide entertainment on the market square. The festival is designed to be family-friendly and also offers a children's programme.

Getting there
Pleystein is located in the Neustadt an der Waldnaab district in the northern Upper Palatinate, near the Czech border. By car via the A6 (exit Vohenstrauß), then via country roads. The Old Market Square is located in the historic town centre.
