Closing event of the Ingelheim Wine Cellar Festivals 2026 at Burgberg with open-air flair and late summer atmosphere
Ingelheim am Rhein has carried the nickname "Red Wine City" for generations. With the format "Burgberg Under Vibes", the Ingelheim Wine Cellar Festivals series provides a modern finale: four days of open-air wine festival at the historic Burgberg, one of Ingelheim's most scenically striking locations. From August 27th to 30th, 2026, the participating wineries will open their stalls, DJs and live acts will play on stage, and late summer will get its festive conclusion.
The concept combines traditional wine culture with a contemporary open-air atmosphere: wine from the producer, young cuisine, food trucks, DJ sets, and live music in a unique elevated location with views over Ingelheim, the Rhine, and into the Rheingau. The combination of top-quality wine, a young atmosphere, and a special location makes "Burgberg Under Vibes" a highlight for a younger audience and for anyone who wants to experience wine in a modern format.
The focus is on the current vintage wines from Ingelheim wineries: Pinot Noir, Pinot Madeleine, cuvées, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Rosé, and sparkling wine. The wines are served in tasting glasses, and a wine token system simplifies payment. Explanations about the vineyard, vintage, and production are provided at each wine stand.
The culinary offerings are interpreted in a modern way: food trucks with burgers, vegetarian specialties, tarte flambée, pizza, and, depending on the vendor, Asian street food. Seating is arranged in lounge furniture and at communal tables under the open sky, with string lights and stylish lighting creating a special atmosphere in the evening.
"Burgberg Under Vibes" is the closing event of the Ingelheim Wine Cellar Festivals season 2026. Those who have followed the entire season – from the Spring Wine Festival at the Winzerkeller at the beginning of May, through numerous cellar festivals, to this open-air finale – will have gained a comprehensive impression of the Ingelheim wine world.
The 2026 edition follows the proven concept of the open-air format at Burgberg: four days of wine, live music, DJ sets, and food trucks at one of Ingelheim's most scenic locations. The closing event marks the end of the Wine Cellar Festivals season in a special atmosphere.
