Spring in the Märkische Schweiz

The town of Buckow, located in the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park in the Märkisch-Oderland district, is considered the green lung of Brandenburg, east of Berlin. Once a year, the town celebrates its Garden and Health Day: a spring market that combines the themes of garden culture and wellness against the backdrop of the nature park.

Schlosspark as the Venue

The venue is the Schlosspark Buckow, surrounding the former Buckow Castle. The historic park with old trees, paths, and the „Zum Alten Warmbad“ gallery is located in the heart of the town and is reachable on foot from all parts of Buckow within minutes. On May 10, 2026, it will transform into an open marketplace from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Sebastian Kneipp Tradition

Buckow bears the epithet Sebastian Kneipp Town and has cultivated Kneipp's teachings for years. The Schlosspark features a public Kneipp foot bath; during the Garden and Health Day, demonstrations and instructions on Kneipp applications are offered.
