The Technik Museum Speyer was founded in 1991 and is one of the largest private technical museums in Europe. Spread over more than 25,000 square meters of exhibition space, it showcases original exhibits from aviation, space travel, shipping, railways, automotive, military, and fire brigade technology. Highlights include a walk-through Lufthansa Boeing 747-200, a submarine, a walk-through Antonov cargo plane, a Buran space shuttle, a Concorde, and hundreds of historic automobiles. The museum is a sister museum to the Auto & Technik Museum Sinsheim.
The Brazzeltag makes Speyer shake – the impressive sound and action create a spectacle that attracts technology fans from all over Germany. Thousands of visitors are expected on both days, eager to experience the spectacle up close.
The 2026 edition continues the tradition as Southern Germany's most spectacular technology festival. Saturday, May 9, 2026, 9:00 AM: Festival grounds open at the Technik Museum Speyer. Start of the vintage car show, first stunt rides, and demonstrations.
Saturday Morning: Presentation of historic vehicles – cars, motorcycles, tractors, trucks from several decades. First drift shows and burnout performances.
Saturday Afternoon: Highlight with dragster action, professional stunt drivers, and record vehicle demonstrations. Movie cars and Lanz tractors as special attractions.
Saturday, 6:00 PM: Day closes.
Sunday, May 10, 2026, 9:00 AM: Reopening with a similar program. Family day with special children's and family activities.
Sunday Afternoon: Final stunt shows, dragster highlights, and burnout spectacle.
Sunday, 6:00 PM: End of Brazzeltag 2026.
