Bullerbachtal at the foot of the Deister is a particularly beautiful natural spot: old trees, the nearby forest, the streams, and the cozy Naturfreundehaus create an atmosphere quite different from typical urban festival settings. It is precisely into this setting that the Naturfreunde Barsinghausen place their annual open-air festival, Blues & Rock am Deister.

Four Bands, Seven Hours

The 2026 lineup is confirmed:

• Steve Baker & The LiveWires – Steve Baker is an international figure in the Blues and harmonica scene; with The LiveWires, he delivers a mix of Blues, Americana, and Rock.
• Blackberry Crowes – Rock, Folk, and Blues in their own unique interpretation.
• Blue Terrace – Classic Blues with heart, soul, and depth.
• EternalBlue – Cover band with a love for Blues and Rock classics.

Format and Atmosphere

Seven hours of music (doors open and start at 3 PM), a relaxed open-air setting, catering at the Naturfreundehaus, seating options, and a dedicated team of volunteers characterize the festival. It is not aimed at an anonymous mass audience but at enthusiasts who want to enjoy the music in a manageable, dignified environment.

Naturfreunde Barsinghausen

The Naturfreunde Barsinghausen are part of the nationwide NaturFreunde movement. With their Naturfreundehaus, they operate a meeting place for hiking, education, culture, and leisure activities. Blues & Rock am Deister is one of their most important cultural events of the year.
