The Bitburg Christmas Market is the central Advent market of the town of Bitburg and one of the most important Christmas markets in the Southern Eifel and the greater region. The venue is the "Am Spittel" area in the city center – a central square that unfolds a special magic during the Advent weeks with its festive lighting, stalls, and musical accompaniment.

The Bitburg Christmas Market focuses on a deliberately familiar and traditional atmosphere with several focal points:

• Live Nativity Scene: A traditional nativity representation with animals and actors that brings the biblical Christmas story to life.
• Advent Calendar: A large advent calendar that opens a new door daily, ritually structuring Advent over several days.

Gastronomy and Stalls

The culinary area is classically festive: mulled wine and children's punch, bratwurst, potato pancakes, candied almonds, gingerbread, and fried pastries.
