Career orientation meets music and workshops — August 27 and 28, 2026, 9 AM–3 PM
The BerufsBeats Festival is a novel event format: it combines career orientation with music, workshops, and a festival atmosphere — taking career decisions out of the classic trade fair context and placing them within an experience-oriented framework. In 2026, the festival will take place on Thursday, August 27, and Friday, August 28, from 9 AM to 3 PM in Lüneburg's city center.
The festival takes over central city locations:
The festival is aimed at students from grade 8 onwards and is free for them. Schools can register classes, and individual young people can attend with their families. The combination of music and career orientation aims to lower inhibitions and facilitate encounters that wouldn't happen in traditional trade fair formats.
Companies and universities from the region and beyond will be present. Instead of just handing out brochures, they offer:
Festival means music: a stage program with youth-relevant acts accompanies the two days. This creates an atmosphere where career orientation feels different from the usual trade fair hall.
