Open-Air Gala of the Havelländische Musikfestspiele in Ribbeck Castle Garden — Salonorchester Unter'n Linden meets Winnie Böwe
"Herr von Ribbeck auf Ribbeck im Havelland" — Theodor Fontane's ballad made a small village north of Nauen world-famous. Concerts of the Havelländische Musikfestspiele have been held for years in the Ribbeck Castle Garden, where the famous pear tree once stood. On June 13, 2026, the "Berliner Luft Open-Air-Gala" will transform the garden into an open-air salon — with the Salonorchester Unter'n Linden, an ensemble of the Staatskapelle Berlin, and the singer Winnie Böwe.
The program brings together the great names of 20th-century Berlin salon and operetta music: Paul Lincke with his famous "Berliner Luft," Friedrich Holländer with melodies from the Golden Twenties, Marlene Dietrich, and the Comedian Harmonists. Added to this are jazz, swing, chanson, and operetta melodies. Winnie Böwe — known from numerous Berlin stages — lends her voice to the gala, while the Salonorchester Unter'n Linden forms the musical foundation.
A guided village tour through Ribbeck begins as early as 1:30 PM — a worthwhile prelude before the concert. Admission to the castle garden starts at 2:15 PM, and the concert begins at 3:00 PM. The stage is set in the historic castle garden, and the audience sits on chairs under the open sky. Culinary delights are provided in the concert area.
For years, the Havelländische Musikfestspiele have been filling the historic venues of the Havelland region — castles, churches, gardens, monasteries — with classical concerts, opera galas, and chamber music evenings.
