Four days in the fashion capital: shows, presentations, and talks between Mitte and Kreuzberg
Twice a year — at the end of January and the beginning of July — Berlin Fashion Week transforms the capital into Germany's largest fashion showcase. The Winter Edition AW26, from January 30 to February 2, 2026, presents the collections for Autumn/Winter 2026/27 and brings together established labels and emerging talents for an international audience of buyers, press, and fashion insiders.
The official AW26 program includes 52 presentation formats, among them 42 classic runway shows. Highlights come from Andrej Gronau, BALLETSHOFER, Buzigahill, DAGGER, GmbH, Haderlump Atelier Berlin, Ioannes, John Lawrence Sullivan, Kasia Kucharska, Kenneth Ize, Laura Gerte, Lou de Bètoly, Marke, Orange Culture, PLNGNS, Richert Beil, SF1OG, Sia Arnika, and William Fan, among others. Established names like Danny Reinke, Killian Kerner, and Marc Cain round off the program, complemented by fresh voices such as Impari, Nowrubi, OBS, Sample030, Thomas Hanisch, Unvain, and Vanessa Baernthol.
The shows take place in some of Berlin's most spectacular locations: from the classicist Kronprinzenpalais on Unter den Linden to the historic Station Berlin at Anhalter Bahnhof, and Tor86 on Torstraße. The Berlin Contemporary Showroom is based at Hotel Zoo on Kurfürstendamm. The geographical distribution between Mitte and Kreuzberg is part of the staging — Berlin as a city of contrasts, where fashion takes place between representative buildings and off-spaces.
The Fashion Council Germany deliberately positions Berlin Fashion Week against the spectacle logic of other fashion weeks: here, the focus is on freedom of self-expression, inclusion, diversity, responsibility towards supply chains and the environment, and proving that German fashion is more than just Boss and Joop. The shows are primarily B2B appointments for buyers and press, but as part of BFW Public, some formats also open their doors to the Berlin public. For the city of Berlin and the state of Berlin, Fashion Week is a central image factor — it showcases the capital as a location for the creative industries and fashion design.
During the four days, three free shuttle buses connect the shows for accredited press and buyers. A Media Hub provides photos, videos, and press releases a few hours after each event, and a daily newsletter summarizes the key moments.
The AW26 edition continues the tradition of showcasing Berlin as the main stage for German fashion twice a year. From January 30 to February 2, 2026, established labels and emerging designers will present their Autumn/Winter 2026/27 collections to an international audience of buyers and press. Venues include the Kronprinzenpalais on Unter den Linden, Station Berlin near Anhalter Bahnhof, Tor86 on Torstraße, and the Berlin Contemporary Showroom at Hotel Zoo am Kurfürstendamm.
The Fashion Council Germany has structured the program around diversity and responsibility. Newcomers from the Berlin Contemporary program — including Andrej Gronau, BALLETSHOFER, Buzigahill, DAGGER, GmbH, Haderlump Atelier Berlin, Ioannes, John Lawrence Sullivan, Kasia Kucharska, Kenneth Ize, Laura Gerte, Lou de Bètoly, Marke, Orange Culture, PLNGNS, Richert Beil, SF1OG, Sia Arnika, and William Fan — share the stage with established names like Danny Reinke, Killian Kerner, and Marc Cain, as well as fresh labels like Impari, Nowrubi, OBS, Sample030, Thomas Hanisch, Unvain, and Vanessa Baernthol.
Three free shuttle buses will run between the locations for accredited guests, and a Media Hub will provide photos, videos, and press releases a few hours after each event.
