The Summer Edition 2025 of Berlin Fashion Week was themed 'Rooted in Authenticity' and presented the Spring/Summer 2026 collections with a clear programmatic line: Berlin fashion as a statement for freedom, inclusion, and responsibility. Established labels and Berlin Contemporary newcomers showcased an international program in Station Berlin, Kraftwerk, and other off-locations, attracting accredited press and buyers from across Europe over four days.

The FW26 edition in July 2025 continued the profile that Berlin Fashion Week has developed in recent years: less spectacle than Parisian or Milanese shows, but more substance in terms of emerging talent, sustainability, and diversity. The program brought together around 50 designer formats ranging from classic runway shows to presentations and talks. Berlin locations such as Station Berlin near Anhalter Bahnhof and Kraftwerk in Mitte served as main stages, while Hotel Zoo am Kurfürstendamm once again hosted the Berlin Contemporary Showroom. The format, with its shuttle service, Media Hub, and daily newsletter, definitively established itself as standard and laid the foundation for the significantly expanded AW26 edition in January 2026.
