With the BeachDays, Wolfenbüttel brings a beach atmosphere to the city center for nine days every year. Tournaments in various beach sports take place on a specially constructed beach facility – a format that is unique in the region and is one of the highlights of Wolfenbüttel's event year, both athletically and atmospherically.

The scale of the BeachDays is considerable: a total of 184 teams plus 250 individual participants take part in the various tournaments. This makes the event comparable in scale to national beach sports tournaments – only with a more family-friendly and grassroots character.

On June 22, 2026, a night run for a charitable cause will be held as part of the BeachDays. This combines the sporting event with social engagement – part of a broader Wolfenbüttel trend of linking major sporting events with social added value.
