Two-day open-air festival in the Nattenberg Stadium with Jan Delay, Alphaville, Juli, Callejon, and OG Keemo
In recent years, the Bautz Festival has become one of the most important festival dates in the Märkisches Sauerland. The venue is the Nattenberg Stadium in Lüdenscheid – the stadium's naturally amphitheater-like location offers ideal viewing and acoustic conditions for a festival with multiple stages. The 2026 edition runs on Friday, August 28 (from 4 PM) and Saturday, August 29 (from 2 PM).
Bautz relies on a broad genre programming across five stages:
The Main Stage features established stars: Jan Delay & Disko No. 1 (Hamburg's reggae/funk pioneer), Alphaville (eighties synth-pop classic "Forever Young"), ClockClock (German indie-pop), Juli (pop-rock from Gießen, known for "Perfekte Welle"), as well as Benno!, Fayan, Knallblech, Paula Carolina, and Baumgart.
The Collabo Stage hosts the more experimental and harder acts: OG Keemo (German rapper), Stick to your Guns (US Hardcore Punk), Sylosis (British Thrash Metal), Azad (German Hip-Hop veteran), Callejon (German metal band), Fjørt (Post-Hardcore), plus OG LU, Sampagne, Avralize, Hexer, Stellvris, Allwettercrew, Kitana, and Poppy Wizard.
The Alma de Mallorca stage is Bautz's unique crossover element: Isi Glück, Noisetime, Almklausi, Mambo Kurt, and BEATBAER bring Mallorca flair to the Sauerland – a deliberate break from the harder program that attracts a young audience.
Camping is available on the festival grounds. 2-day ticket: 114.50 Euros, children free. Over 10 more acts will be announced in the months leading up to the festival.
Lüdenscheid is the district town of the Märkischer Kreis in the Sauerland region, with around 73,000 inhabitants. The Nattenberg Stadium is one of the city's most important sports venues – its selection as a festival location transforms the classic Sauerland townscape into a modern, young city. Bautz is a flagship of this change, attracting festival-goers from the entire Bergisches Land, Märkisches Sauerland, and beyond.
Two days of open-air festival with broad genre programming: mainstream rock and pop on the Main Stage, Hip-Hop and Hardcore on the Collabo Stage, Mallorca sound on the Alma stage, and DJ sets on the Turntable Stage. Over 30 acts are confirmed – at least 10 more to follow.
Camping is possible on site. With the 2-day ticket (€114.50) and free entry for children, Bautz positions itself as a family-friendly yet robust festival.
Note: Over 10 additional acts are announced but not yet officially released.
