Overview

The Baiersbronn Gourmet Festival did not yet take place in 2025 — the premiere is only announced for October 2026. Instead, Baiersbronn presented its proven culinary highlights in 2025, such as the "Burgundernacht" and the "Köstlich Wandern" tours, which have made the star capital of the Black Forest known to gourmets for years.

In 2025, Baiersbronn Touristik did not yet organize the independent Gourmet Festival — the premiere is planned for October 2026. Instead, the established gourmet dates shaped the year: the "Burgundernacht" in August, the "Köstlich-Wandern" tours through the Tonbach Valley, and the Tonbach Valley illumination in July. The town's star restaurants — Bareiss, Schwarzwaldstube, and others — offered their regular seasonal menus, which attract gourmets from all over Germany and Europe to the Black Forest every year. With the new Gourmet Festival in 2026, Baiersbronn is expanding this offering with an independent festival format — a step that will significantly strengthen the profile of the German star capital.
