The Bärmesenser Hexentour is an established format in Pirmasens' nightlife culture. On April 30, the night before May 1st (Walpurgis Night), the city center opens up into a large pub mile. With its 7th edition, the format has consolidated and is considered one of the most important night events in the calendar year of the shoe city.

17 Pubs, Live Music, and DJs

17 pubs, bars, and venues in the city center participate in the concept. Each venue features a band or a DJ — genres range from rock and pop to cover classics and electronic music. This musical diversity allows every guest to curate their individual evening and switch between different moods throughout the night.

Official Opening with DJ Elias

The official opening at 7:30 PM in front of Café Unico is a central moment of the evening. DJ Elias performs on a mobile stage — a spectacular setup that gathers the audience and sets the mood for the night. Music in the participating venues begins at 8 PM.

Party Buses as a Mobility Concept

A clever element of the Hexentour is the bus system: Four party buses and two music buses serve 11 stops throughout the city starting at 9 PM. This makes switching between venues easy, safe, and car-free. The buses are part of the festival themselves — with their own music and a party atmosphere on board.
