Mobility show in Wolfsburg city centre with new exhibits, interactive activities, and family programme focusing on cars, motorcycles, and micro-mobility
The Auto- und Zweiradmeile Wolfsburg transforms the Wolfsburg city centre into an open-air mobility show on June 6, 2026. New exhibits from car, motorcycle, and micro-mobility brands meet interactive activities centred around current mobility topics. The event is organised by Wolfsburg Marketing GmbH (WMG).
The all-day family programme combines industry presentations with accessible hands-on activities – from test sitting to e-mobility tests and children's activity zones. In a city whose identity is inextricably linked to the Volkswagen plant, the event has a natural audience.
Wolfsburg owes its existence to the Volkswagen plant: founded in 1938 as the 'City of the KdF-Wagen', it grew into one of Germany's most important industrial locations after World War II. Today, the city is home not only to the main plant and corporate headquarters but also to attractions like the Autostadt and the ZeitHaus car museum. The Auto- und Zweiradmeile builds on this identity, but expands it to include two-wheelers and new forms of mobility.
On the mile, brand dealers, manufacturers, and mobility service providers showcase their innovations: cars – from compact to premium, conventional and electric –, motorcycles, scooters, e-bikes, cargo bikes, and micro-mobility. The show is accompanied by lectures, showrooms, and test sessions.
The focus is on hands-on formats: test sitting, test drives, configuration tools, e-mobility information stands, and children's activity zones. WMG curates a supporting programme of live music, stage interviews, and family events.
With its location in the pedestrian zone, the mile fits into Wolfsburg's city festival calendar. Cafés, restaurants, and retail businesses in the city centre benefit from the high visitor numbers.
The Auto- und Zweiradmeile Wolfsburg 2026 takes place on Saturday, June 6. In the city centre, brands and dealers will present their latest innovations in cars, motorcycles, and micro-mobility. A family programme and interactive activities will accompany the show.
The exact programme for 2026 will be published by WMG in the spring. The structure will follow the proven key points of previous years: exhibitor mile in the pedestrian zone, test drives and seating, stage programme, and family zones.
The format combines an industry showroom with the accessible character of a city festival. The mile ranges from classic cars and motorcycles to e-bikes, scooters, and cargo bikes.
Exhibitors open in the morning, with the main visitor traffic in the afternoon. Stage programmes, interviews, and family formats are spread throughout the day.
