In May 2025, Hofladen Brandt already invited visitors to the Asparagus Festival in Groß Bölkow. The farm day centered around the seasonal vegetable, featuring asparagus soup, farm tours, and a children's program, is one of the regular spring events of the family-run business in the Rostock district.
The Asparagus Festival at Hofladen Brandt is a recurring spring event celebrating the peak of the North German asparagus season. In 2025, the farm, managed by the Brandt family since 1702, once again opened its gates for a family harvest festival. Fresh asparagus soup, bratwurst, coffee, and cake were served to guests, while farm tours from the chicken mobile to the asparagus field provided insights into the farm's operations. A children's playground made the day a destination for the whole family.
