Advent Magic in Front of the Ahlbeck Pier
The Ahlbeck Christmas Market is one of two small Advent markets in the Kaiserbäder on the island of Usedom. The venue is the Konzertplatz directly on the beach promenade, in immediate view of Germany's oldest surviving pier – a historic location that gives the market a special atmosphere.

The municipality of Ostseebad Heringsdorf, to which Ahlbeck belongs, is located in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald. Two weeks later, the Bansin Christmas Market follows on the third Advent weekend, so the Advent season on Usedom is characterized by two small, distinctive markets.
