Affirmative Festival Mainz — edition 2026
The Affirmative Festival 2026 runs from Thursday evening to Sunday night and uses three venues in parallel. The evening main shows take place at the Unterhaus and the Alte Postlager, while workshops and experimental late-night formats are held at the Improschule. The exact 2026 program will be published by the organizer in the spring. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years: Thursday festival opening with a gala show of all ensembles, Friday and Saturday thematic show evenings with long forms, short forms, and musical improv, Sunday workshop showings, free jam, and closing ceremony.
