The rally uses this landscape as a reference point and leads participants on routes that pass several of these archaeological testimonies.

Unlike classic speed rallies, a regularity rally is about precisely adhering to predetermined average speeds and time targets. The teams — usually a driver and co-driver — must calculate their driving time to hit the target time as closely as possible at the measurement points. Oldtimer-Club Delmenhorst
For decades, OC Delmenhorst e.V. has been one of the most active classic car clubs in the region. With its members, it organizes rallies, regular meetups, group drives, and workshop appointments. The Rallye Rund um die Hünengräber is its annual flagship event and highlight in the club's calendar.

Scoring
Points are awarded for the exact adherence to the target time at the measurement points. Deviations — driving too fast or too slow — cost points. The winners are the teams that have accumulated the lowest sum of penalty seconds over the entire route.
