One Night, Two Cities, Sixteen Locations
The 7 Mountains Music Night — 7mmn for short — is one of the most charming pub festivals on the Middle Rhine. Organized by Bad Honnef event manager Nicolas Büsch (NB.Events) in collaboration with the city administrations of Bad Honnef and Königswinter, as well as Bad Honnef AG, the format connects two cities into a single festival mile. The name alludes to the Siebengebirge, the wooded mountain range between the two Rhine cities — with Drachenfels, Petersberg, and five other "mountains" that gave the region its name.
14th Edition on June 13, 2026
The premiere took place in 2009 — in 2026, the 7mmn celebrates its 14th edition on Saturday, June 13. Starting at 8:00 PM, official end at midnight, followed by an aftershow party at Club Lilo Bad Honnef. Over 15 locations in both cities are participating: pubs, bars, cafés, restaurants, as well as shops and pop-up spaces that become stages only for this evening. Three shuttle buses commute between the venues — across the valley between the Rhine and the Siebengebirge.
One Wristband, All Stages
The concept is classic and unbeatable: a festival wristband for €15 at the entrance (slightly cheaper in advance) opens all doors of all participating locations for the entire night. If you feel like it, stay for an hour with the rock band, then stroll to the singer-songwriter café three doors down, hop on the shuttle to Königswinter for a cover show, and end the night with a jazz trio in Bad Honnef. Genres range from indie, rock, and pop to jazz, blues, singer-songwriter, and acoustic, as well as cover classics and Schlager.
The Siebengebirge — Natural Scenery between Bonn and Cologne
Königswinter and Bad Honnef are located on the right bank of the Rhine at the foot of the Siebengebirge, southeast of Bonn. Königswinter (around 40,000 inhabitants) is home to the famous Drachenfels with Drachenburg Castle and has been part of the nominated Middle Rhine World Heritage since 2015. Bad Honnef (around 26,000 inhabitants) is considered the "Nice of the Rhine" — both cities share a cultural and tourist identity that found its expression in the 19th century with Rhine Romanticism and summer residences. The 7mmn makes an advantage of this dual-city constellation — wristband wearers commute through two city centers, which no classic pub festival achieves.
Aftershow Party at Lilo
From midnight, the festival night concludes at Lilo Bad Honnef — admission is included in the wristband. The club is considered the region's central hub for nightlife and is a logical endpoint for night owls from both cities.
