The Schützenhaus grounds on the outskirts of the town provide the fitting environment for an event of this magnitude. The 24-hour marathon attracts runners from all over southern Lower Saxony every year.

From the Starting Signal to the Night Stage
The marathon is designed so that each participant can find their own rhythm within the 24 hours. While individual starters work with long break strategies, relay teams alternate at shorter intervals.
Program Structure 2026

The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years: a festive opening on Saturday morning, continuous running with catering stations, evening music in the Schützenhaus, a night stage with headlamps and mood music, and a joint award ceremony on Sunday afternoon.
