150 Years of Volunteer Fire Brigade

In 2026, the Gutenstetten Volunteer Fire Brigade looks back on 150 years of club history. Gutenstetten is located in the Middle Franconian district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim. The anniversary honors the long-standing voluntary commitment of the brigade and is also a major celebration for the entire village community.

Festival Weekend for the Region

Over several days, the festival grounds will transform into a meeting point for friendly fire brigades, local clubs, and guests from the region. The program includes a festival opening, a family day with a ceremonial commissioning, and a grand parade followed by a festival finale.

Chronicle and Tradition

For the anniversary, former mayor Helmut Reiß compiled a festival chronicle of the brigade, approximately 150 pages long. Fire brigade anniversaries are an important part of village customs in Middle Franconia – they combine recognition for voluntary service with vibrant festival culture and strengthen the cohesion of the village community.
