In 2025, around 100 festively decorated stalls once again transformed Zwickau's Hauptmarkt, Keplerstraße, and Kornmarkt into one of West Saxony's most atmospheric Advent markets. A stage program featuring Saxon choirs and brass bands, Erzgebirge handicrafts, carousels, and a children's creative studio formed the stable pillars of the event.
Zwickau Christmas Market — Tradition During Advent
In 2025, the Zwickau Christmas Market once again attracted countless visitors from West Saxony, Vogtland, and the Erzgebirge to the Schumann city. The proven concept — around 100 stalls across three squares, a stage program at the Hauptmarkt, two carousels, a children's creative studio, and the atmospheric backdrop of the Town Hall, Gewandhaus, and Marienkirche — confirmed the market's status as a fixed date in West Saxony's Advent calendar.
In 2026, the market will be open from November 24 to December 22.
