10 Years of Zug der Liebe — Anniversary Edition 2025

With the 2025 edition, Zug der Liebe celebrated its tenth anniversary. Since 2015, the political techno demonstration has become a fixed date in Berlin's late summer — supported by Zug der Liebe e.V. (in cooperation with Diakonie, among others) and distinguished from similar but commercial formats like Loveparade and Rave the Planet by its decidedly non-commercial orientation. As in previous years, 15 trucks with sound systems rolled through Berlin: starting at Eberswalder Straße / Mauerpark in the Prenzlauer Berg district, then through Volkspark Friedrichshain, across Alexanderplatz, past the TV Tower and through Mitte — the endpoint was Oranienstraße in the Kreuzberg district, where the event concluded around 9:00 p.m. Local and international DJs played Techno, House, Drum'n'Bass, and Electronica on the trucks. The political focus points for 2025 — solidarity with homeless people (winter aid program since 2021), Right to the City, diversity, and 50/50 gender parity — formed the thematic framework for the trucks. Thousands of dancers accompanied the procession on foot over the approximately eight-kilometer route.
