Overview
The 2025 Halloween Spectacle again ran on two evenings around October 31 with sold-out capacities. Family Halloween with light effects, fog, and creepy figures in one of NRW's largest zoos — a format that has consistently enjoyed high demand for years.
In 2025, the ZOOM Erlebniswelt Halloween Spectacle was again completely sold out. Thousands of families from Gelsenkirchen, the entire Ruhr area, and sometimes from the Münsterland region experienced the zoo in its unusual Halloween mode.
The staging included, as usual, light effects, fog machines, costumed actors in the various adventure worlds, and Halloween snacks. The family focus remained — not an extreme horror experience, but an evening family event with carefully dosed frights.
