Zoiglfeste Windischeschenbach

In 2025, the Zoiglfeste (Zoigl festivals) once again shaped the year in Windischeschenbach and Neuhaus. The Zoigl taverns opened from March to December in rotating succession, serving the "Echter Zoigl vom Kommunbrauer". A special highlight was the Oberpfälzer Zoigltag on the European Heritage Days, Sunday, September 14, 2025, under the motto "Experience Upper Palatinate Zoigl Culture!". On this day, the five Zoigl capitals Neuhaus, Windischeschenbach, Eslarn, Mitterteich, and Falkenberg offered Zoigl service, guided tours, lectures, hikes, and exhibitions, connected by a free shuttle bus. The season confirmed the vibrant Zoigl culture as intangible cultural heritage of the Upper Palatinate.
