Overview
The 3rd edition of the Xplosion Ritmo Berlin Bachata Festival took place in May 2025 at the KulturBrauerei. Four days of workshops and dancing with a focus on Bachata, Salsa, and Kizomba. Over 35 hours of workshops, 20+ international artists, three major evening parties, and Day Socials established the festival as a firm fixture on the European Latin dance calendar. The Berlin Latin dance scene found its annual highlight event in the spring with this festival.
The 3rd edition in 2025 confirmed the four-day format: workshops, performances, Day Socials, and major parties in the halls of the Kesselhaus and Maschinenhaus at KulturBrauerei. The festival grows visibly each year; the Bachata wave in Berlin has made the event a reliable destination for international Latin dancers — not a sweat-drenched format, but a festival with a community focus.
