In 2025, the Wuhletallauf did not take place in its usual form. The Hellersdorfer Athletik-Club Berlin used the year to prepare for the revival in 2026. The previous run was a regular fixture on the Berlin road race calendar in the 2010s and will be resumed in an adapted form in 2026.
The year 2025 marked the last year of the Wuhletallauf's break. The organising club, Hellersdorfer Athletik-Club Berlin, used the time to reorganise, find sponsors, and adapt the route concept. A review of previous editions formed the basis for the 2026 revival.
In 2025, only smaller club running events and training runs by local schools took place on the Wuhletal routes.
