Edition 2025 — Würzburger Weindorf
The 37th edition of the Würzburger Weindorf attracted up to 100,000 visitors to the wooden arbors on the market square in early summer 2025. Restaurateurs and wineries such as Juliusspital, Bürgerspital, Ratskeller, and Krieger's Weinlauben served over 100 Franconian wines in Bocksbeutel bottles and by the glass for ten days. The Weindorf thus reinforced its position as Franconia's most important inner-city wine festival.
2025 Season – 37th Edition
In 2025, the Würzburger Weindorf once again brought together the most important Würzburg restaurateurs and wineries in their wooden arbors on the market square. For ten days, the festival operated daily from 11 AM to 11:30 PM; the theme nights and special programs attracted diverse target groups to the historic Old Town.
The positive reception of the 37th edition led to the early confirmation of the 2026 date and the renewed participation of the established Würzburg establishments – proof that the Weindorf attracts not only tourists but also the residents of Würzburg themselves to the market square.
