Edition 2025 — Woodstock Forever
The Woodstock Forever Festival 2025 once again transformed the Auenland holiday village in Waffenrod (Eisfeld district, Hildburghausen district) into a five-day venue for Rock, Blues, Stoner, and Krautrock. Three stages, international and national acts, a Family Zone, and a family-friendly hippie atmosphere characterized the summer festival in the Thuringian Forest.
Woodstock Forever 2025 in the Thuringian Forest
As every year, the Woodstock Forever Festival took place in the summer of 2025 on the ridge in Waffenrod. With the typical hippie spirit, three stages, and a genre mix of Rock, Blues, Stoner, Prog Rock, Krautrock, Grunge, and World Music, the festival offered its well-established concept: family-friendly, peaceful, community-oriented. Children up to 14 years old, as always, had free entry.
Camping directly at the festival grounds, an on-site summer toboggan run, and the breathtaking natural scenery of the Thuringian Slate Mountains at nearly 600 meters altitude created the atmosphere that makes the festival unique.
