Overview

In 2025, the Wolfsegg Castle Summer also ran from May to October. The season started with the Wolfsegg Landsknechte on the first Sunday in May, followed by concerts in the Knights' Hall, open-air theatre in the castle courtyard, family Sundays, special guided tours on the legend of the White Lady, and artist days. The castle was open as usual on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

The 2025 Castle Summer continued the established program structure: The season opened with the Wolfsegg Landsknechte on the first Sunday in May, and over the following months, radio journalists and families were drawn to the concerts in the Knights' Hall, special guided tours, and open-air theatre performances in the Naab Valley. Highlights included the performances by the Landsknechte with demonstrations of medieval weapons training, crafts, and music, as well as thematic tours developed around the legend of the "White Lady" — the famous castle ghost of Wolfsegg.

During the season, the castle remained open as usual on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10 am to 4 pm, with the castle museum being part of the visitor experience. With the commitment of the Kuratorium Burg Wolfsegg e.V. and funding from federal, state, and EU sources, the 2025 Castle Summer reaffirmed its role as a cultural summer highlight in the district of Regensburg.
