About wobJOB
On Friday, September 4, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., wobJOB will bring together students, university students, and career changers in Wolfsburg's city center with regional and supra-regional companies. The focus is on apprenticeships, jobs, further training, and dual study programs.

Direct Contact in an Urban Setting
Classic career and training fairs usually take place in halls. wobJOB takes a different approach: it uses Wolfsburg's pedestrian zone as a stage, making attendance easily accessible. Students often attend in class groups; many discover the stand of their future training company simply by chance.
Industries and Exhibitors
Industries represented include manufacturing (especially Volkswagen and its suppliers), skilled trades, retail, banking, nursing and healthcare, IT, logistics, administration, construction, hotels and gastronomy, police and armed forces, as well as universities and dual study programs. This broad spectrum allows for the presentation of both traditional apprenticeships and academic pathways.
Program
In addition to the exhibition stands, the event features stage interviews, short presentations, CV checks, and taster sessions. Exhibitors offer live demonstrations — from welding and nursing simulations to mini IT hackathons.
Digital Parallel Fair
From August 21 to September 18, 2026, a virtual fair will complement the in-person event. It includes company profiles, job offers, live chats with recruiters, and video presentations. This allows wobJOB to reach interested individuals who cannot attend the in-person event.
Cooperation
wobJOB is a cooperation between WMG and Volksbank BRAWO and the Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung. Schools, chambers of commerce, and associations provide organizational support.
