Overview

The inaugural edition of Winterquartier Berlin ran from November 29, 2025, to February 28, 2026 — the Christmas market section ended at the end of December, while the ice rink continued longer as a winter sports offering. Mon–Fri 3–10 PM, Sat+Sun 12–10 PM, closed Dec 24+25. At Napoleon Komplex, Modersohnstraße 49a.

The first edition of Winterquartier 2025/2026 was a premiere for Berlin's Advent landscape: a new format with an indoor ice rink at its core, complemented by a Christmas market, ice disco, and children's program. The organizers and operators of Napoleon Komplex transformed the hall into a winter event location for the first time.

The reception was strong — families from Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, young adults from all over the city, and international visitors to Berlin flocked in during the initial weeks. The ice rink remained open as a regular ice sports facility until the end of February, even after the Christmas market closed — a concept that stabilizes the format seasonally.
