Overview

The Winterdorf Gummersbach 2025 ran from mid-November to December 23 on Steinmüllerallee. As in previous years, the covered hut village offered 500 seats, arts and crafts, a stage, and a children's carousel. The event continued to establish itself as an alternative Christmas market in the Oberbergisch district.

The 2025 edition continued the proven concept of a covered hut bar, arts and crafts, show workshops, and stage program. With 500 seats, wooden walkways, fir garlands, and artificial snow, the Winterdorf created its characteristic hut atmosphere — a bad-weather-proof alternative to classic open-air Christmas markets.

Steinmüllerallee benefits from its central location in the redeveloped former industrial area and is easily accessible by train and bus from the entire Oberbergisch district. The Winterdorf is now one of the attractions of the Advent season in the Bergisches Land.
