The trademark of the Winterzauber is the light tunnel — a passage of thousands of lights and fairy lights that has become one of the most popular photo spots of the Lüneburg winter season. From November 19th to December 24th, it complements the city center's extensive Advent offerings as part of the Christmas City. From December 26th to January 10th, it bridges the time after Christmas when the classic markets have long since closed and the city longs for meeting points in the January days.
