Overview

In 2025, the Wings for Life World Run also started in Munich. Thousands of runners set off punctually at 1:00 PM local time, followed 30 minutes later by the Catcher Car. Munich's flagship event is one of the most important stops in the global running network of the Wings for Life Foundation.

The Wings for Life World Run Munich 2025 took place, as usual, on a Sunday in May, starting at the Olympic Park at 1:00 PM local time. Thousands of runners from Munich, southern Germany, Austria, and Switzerland used the run to support the spinal cord research of the Wings for Life Foundation.

The 12th edition was once again under the motto 'Run for those who can't'. 100% of the entry fees went directly to the non-profit foundation's research funding. The course led through the Olympic region and further along Munich's main arteries; the Catcher Car successively determined the individual end of the run.
