About Wine in the City

From October 15 to 18, 2026, wineries will showcase their vintages at Breitscheidplatz, nestled between Kurfürstendamm and the Memorial Church. Wine in the City is a brand-new event: Family & Friends e. V. is bringing its wine market to the heart of Berlin's City West for the very first time. Admission is free.

Premiere: A wine market in the heart of Berlin's City West, located at Breitscheidplatz around the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. From October 15 to 18, 2026, wineries will have the opportunity to showcase their wines in this central Berlin location.

Winemakers meet the people they craft their wines for: personal, professional, and above all, in high spirits. It is the perfect place to talk shop to your heart's content, or simply enjoy a wine tasting right on the Kurfürstendamm.

Wine tasting on the Kudamm

Wine in the City makes its debut from October 15 to 18, 2026, at Breitscheidplatz. Wineries will present their selections at one of Berlin's most central squares. It is a place where winemakers meet the people they craft their wines for—offering personal, expert, and cheerful interactions. Feel free to talk shop to your heart's content.

The Location

Breitscheidplatz is located in the Charlottenburg district, within the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf borough, situated between Kurfürstendamm, Budapester Straße, and Tauentzienstraße. It is a key hub of City West, best known for the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, whose ruins have been preserved as a poignant monument.

The Organizer

Family & Friends e. V. hosts several wine festivals in Berlin throughout the year, including the Weinbrunnen at Ludwig-Beck-Platz, the Westend Wine and Winemaker Festival, and KUNST trifft WEIN in Lichtenrade. Wine in the City is the latest addition to their calendar.
