Overview

The Wine Festival at Weingut Schloss Saaleck 2025 took place on the last weekend of May and followed the three-day concept: Friday evening Electronic kick-off at the wine pavilion, Saturday afternoon House sets at the wine cellar, Sunday breakfast finale. Organic wine directly from the vintner, vegan food, shuttle bus from Hammelburg.

The 2025 edition adhered to the winery's established in-house festival concept: a three-day format with electronic music instead of a traditional folk band, organically certified wine, and a deliberately vegetarian-vegan food offering. The DJ collective Mystery Forest was also at the wine cellar on Saturday in 2025.

The concept has established itself in the younger Franconian wine scene as an alternative style: those looking for wine as a pleasure experience without the classic festival catering atmosphere will find a deliberately curated alternative here to the major Franconian wine festivals in Würzburg, Iphofen, or Volkach. The shuttle bus service from Weihertorplatz Hammelburg has been a hallmark of the festival since its first edition.
