The 2025 Rochlitz Castle Wine Festival took place in September in the castle courtyard. Vintners from Saxony and Saale-Unstrut, live music, magician Paul Buk, and regional specialties characterized the day. The castle museum had reduced opening hours on the festival day.

In 2025, the wine festival once again utilized the unique setting of the castle courtyard. Vintners from the Saxon Elbe region and the Saale-Unstrut region presented their wines, live bands provided the atmosphere, and magician Paul Buk entertained families. The format has proven successful — a relaxed wine tasting in a medieval atmosphere, without the hustle and bustle of classic wine festivals, with a clear regional focus on Saxon viticulture. Admission: €5 per person.
