Overview

In the summer of 2025, the annual "Wine and Hike" wine tour by the Malsch vintners took place as usual in the vineyards on the Letzenberg. Hundreds of hikers from the Kraichgau and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region used the Sunday to taste the wines of local vintners on a circular route through the vines and enjoy the panorama of the southern Kraichgau hills.

The "Wine and Hike" tour 2025 by the Malsch vintners followed the proven pattern: meeting point Reblandhalle, start at 11 AM, then a moderate circular route through the Malsch vineyards on the Letzenberg. At various wine stations along the route, local vintners served their selections — Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir. Families, enjoyment hikers, and wine lovers from the Kraichgau and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region made the Sunday a relaxed summer experience.

The event is one of the fixed meeting points of Malsch's wine culture and strengthens the connection between vintners and consumers — a direct way to get to know the wines in their region of origin.
