Overview

The 2025 edition of the Windsurf World Cup Sylt took place from September 26 to October 5 at Brandenburger Strand. Around 200,000 visitors watched ten days of competitions in Wave, Freestyle, and Slalom. Defending champion Marc Paré (Spain) competed again, joined by several German athletes. Live streaming via Joyn made the event globally accessible.

2025 Season Finale

The 2025 edition once again underscored the unique position of the Sylt World Cup: As the only PWA Tour stop with Super Grand Slam status, the competition was decisive for the World Championships in Wave and Freestyle. Around 200,000 spectators came to Brandenburger Strand over the ten festival days.

Conditions and Athletes

The mix of international top talent and a home crowd for the German starters — especially Philip Köster — ensured an exciting program. The defending champion Marc Paré from Spain was, as always, among the favorites.

Programme

The 2025 edition followed the classic 10-day format: Wave, Freestyle, Slalom, and Foil competitions depending on conditions, complemented by the 500-meter festival promenade with exhibitor offerings, food trucks, and after-surf parties. Live stream continuously via Joyn.
