Overview

The Windbergfest Freital 2025 took place on the second weekend of September, once again gathering thousands of visitors from the region. Three days of city festival with marquee, Schloss Burgk courtyard, KUTA-AREA, show children's park, and the traditional closing fireworks on Sunday evening.

In September 2025, the festival grounds on Burgker Straße were once again transformed into a three-day festival mile. Several thousand visitors came for the Lord Mayor's beer tapping ceremony on Friday evening, the classic car meet at Schloss Burgk on Saturday, and the grand closing fireworks display on Sunday.

The KUTA-AREA, Schloss Burgk with its Irish folk and steampunk stage, and the show children's park in the Friedensstadion complemented the main programme in the marquee. Admission, as usual, was free to the entire festival grounds — a constant feature of the Windbergfest for many years.
