Overview

In 2025, the Wilhelmstadtfest again took place as a double weekend with the Fête de la Musique in Spandau. Around 40 stalls, the family program, and the main stage in front of Plan B Spandau formed the core format. On the Fête Sunday, the four Spandau districts of Altstadt, Neustadt, Wilhelmstadt, and Haselhorst were musically featured concurrently.

The 2025 edition confirmed the festival's format developed since 2014. The Aktives Zentrum Wilhelmstadt once again used the weekend to bring together businesses, clubs, and residents in public spaces. The programming was dense, the weather partly changeable, but the atmosphere on Wilhelmstraße remained lively throughout.

The festival is an example of how Berlin's economic development programs (Aktive Zentren) and local gastronomy (Plan B Spandau) can jointly establish a recurring neighborhood festival. In the state of Berlin and the Spandau district, it is a fixture of the summer calendar.
