Wincent Weiss as headliner at the new festival grounds at Sportforum
For years, Wincent Weiss has been one of the defining voices of German-language pop. With songs like “Frische Luft”, “An Wunder”, and “Musik sein”, he has built a loyal fan base across all generations. His performance at the festival grounds at Sportforum in Wilhelmshaven on September 5, 2026, is part of the new open-air series that the Pumpwerk cultural center is establishing on the new festival grounds. As a former sports facility, the Sportforum offers an open atmosphere with enough space for several thousand visitors.
The new festival grounds at Sportforum are the successor to the traditional Pumpwerk Open Airs, which shaped the cultural center's summer program for years. The larger area allows for booking renowned acts with large fan bases while simultaneously offering a pleasant concert experience without feeling cramped. The stage, sound system, and lighting are adapted to professional festival standards.
Tom Twers and Raum 27 — two up-and-coming acts on the German pop scene — will perform in the supporting acts. The evening thus offers three concerts for the price of one and provides a cross-section of current pop music from Germany. Admission from 5 or 6 PM, the main show begins late in the evening. An open-air experience with the atmosphere of Wilhelmshaven's North Sea air.
On September 5, 2026, Wincent Weiss will present a program of his greatest hits and new songs. His performances are known for being energetic and engaging with the audience.
Tom Twers and Raum 27 as support acts round off the evening with current pop sounds from Germany. Three concerts in one evening.
The exact 2026 program — admission time, setlists, order — will be published by the organizer in good time. The structure follows the proven benchmarks of the open-air concerts:
