Comedy Festival at Pumpwerk

The Wilhelmshaven Laugh Night has quickly established itself as an important date in the North German comedy calendar. The format – several performers on one stage, hosted by a prominent host – gives the audience the opportunity to experience a cross-section of the current cabaret and comedy scene in one evening. With its approximately 450 seats, the Pumpwerk Wilhelmshaven offers the ideal size for such events – large enough for a festive atmosphere, small enough for the necessary closeness between stage and audience.

Host Lutz von Rosenberg Lipinsky

Lutz von Rosenberg Lipinsky takes on the hosting duties for the evening. With his experience from numerous comedy programs, he guides the audience expertly through the program, connects the performances with his own contributions, and ensures the necessary momentum between sets. The hosting role is more than just an introduction: it creates the evening's dramaturgy and provides the right framework for the different voices.

Four Performers: Feldmann, Ruth, Krämer, Sydow

Jacky Feldmann, Lars Ruth, Sebastian Krämer, and René Sydow represent four very different styles of comedy and cabaret. Sebastian Krämer is known as a songwriter and word acrobat, René Sydow as a political satirist with literary ambitions. Jacky Feldmann and Lars Ruth complement the program with their own accents.
